Amsterdam is such an unique city! It is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly diverse. My AirBnb is located outside of the city center in an immigrant community and I've been eating the most delicious food (Ghanian, Vietnamese, and of course-Indian).

This photo was taken at the headquarter office of the social work agency. In the photo, it presents how social workers could cultivate social organizations, deliver the ideology of Communism (which is common among social service agencies in China but involuntarily), and broadcast the community's food culture

This Lutheran Church was built during a time was Russia controlled the Finnish country. This architecture resembles Russian influence and sits on top of the town square higher than every building in the area. Although the time period this church was built represented oppression and foreign control, the Finnish people are very proud of this monumental place of worship.

This is the sunset view from the flat that I subleased. It was a five-minute walk away from the University of Bradford.

Here I am pictured in front of the tall walls of My Refuge House. I liked to look at this wall as I walked around the shelter because personally, it reminded me of why I have chosen a career in the social work field. The more and more time that I spent with the girls at My Refuge House, these are the things that I wish for them: optimism, purpose, belief, and hope.

Returning to the roots of how this project originated, this photo is of me standing next to the dedication to Ellen Baxter, an American woman who traveled to Geelin 1975 and tried to bring the model of family foster care back to the United States.

Dr. Nuno Capaz is the Vice President of the Dissuasion Commission of Lisbon, Ministry of Health, Portugal. Dr. Capaz and I met to discuss the history of decriminalization of drugs in Portugal, implementation of the policy, outcomes, advocacy and the importance of focusing on harm reduction, prevention and treatment.

Visiting a bilingual school in a neighboring city, this photo captures an art lesson I gave on emotion identification. I found art as an engaging method to prompt students to explore their emotions, while recognizing the emotions of others.
