Online Giving

• If you would like to set up a recurring (monthly) gift or payroll deduction (current U-M employees only), please follow the instructions as you check out.

• If the fund you would like to support is not listed online, please call (734) 763-6886 or contact a member of our team.

Giving Through Check or Mail

• If you would like to mail a check, please make it payable to "University of Michigan”.
• In the memo line, please write "SSW" along with the name and number of your preferred fund.
• Please mail your check to:

• To make a gift of stock or securities, please contact the SSW Office of Development and Alumni Relations at [email protected], before your transfer is made. 
• In order to ensure the successful receipt of your gift, please provide the following pieces of information:

  • Number of shares

Giving Instructions for Your Donor Advised Fund

• In order to make a gift through your Donor Advised Fund, you may need the following information:

  • Please make the check payable to the “University of Michigan”
  • Please specify the name and number of the fund you wish to support.

Giving Through a Bequest, Planned Gift, or Through Your Retirement Account

If you would like to include SSW in your Will, as a designated beneficiary on your retirement account, or in another way that would benefit SSW after your passing, please contact a member of the SSW Development team to discuss your plans.

Giving Instructions for Documenting a Multi-Year Pledge

• If you would like to make a multi-year gift by documenting a pledge to SSW, please consider reviewing and completing this pledge form. 
• Your gift may be designated to support the project that is most exciting or meaningful to you, and it can be made payable for up to five years from the time you document your gift.
