Joint PhD Program in Social Work and Social Science

As a Joint PhD student, you will be a member of a select group of outstanding scholars and researchers who study, collaborate and work in an interdisciplinary environment. Joint PhD students earn an interdisciplinary degree in Social Work and one of five social science fields. Joint PhD students reflect the populations they serve and address society’s challenging issues through scientifically rigorous social and behavioral research.
