Sexuality Education

The Sexuality Education track is for professionals with an undergraduate or master's degree (or higher) who regularly provide information about sexual health in educational or health care environments. This includes professionals who work in settings such as schools, residential treatment facilities, medical centers, and family planning centers. One full year of work in a people-related field is required after graduation. Past program participants report that the curriculum design, the comprehensive learning about sex, and the collaboration between professionals were invaluable parts of the Sex Educator Track. Throughout the program you will:

  • attend 9 classes
    • 1 four-day and 2 two-day in-person sessions on campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan
    • 5 online classes
  • have the opportunity to earn 132 AASECT CE contact hours, 132 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™, and social workers may receive 132 CE contact hours (55 in-person, 2 ethics in-person, 67 live interactive online, 1 pain management live interactive online, 8 asynchronous online).
