General Continuing Education FAQ

  1. Am I able to participate in the program if I live outside of the U.S.?

    Our programs are open to a global audience, and the course fee is the same for international participants as it is for U.S.-based participants. If you have questions about how to make a payment, or how your geographic location or visa status may impact participation in our programs, please contact ssw.conted@umich.edu.

  2. Can I complete part of the evaluation now and return to it later?

    The evaluation should be done all at once, so give yourself enough time. Most evaluations can be completed within 5-10 minutes.

  3. How do I access a webinar?

    You will be sent an email approximately one week before the webinar is scheduled with information about how to access the session.

  4. I completed the evaluation--where is my certificate?

    A link to your certificate can be found in two ways:
    1. At the end of the evaluation, a link to your certificate is provided.
    2. Once you have fully completed the evaluation, an email will be sent to you with a link to your certificate.

    If you are still having problems viewing your certificate, please contact ssw.conted@umich.edu.

  5. I never received an email with the evaluation link. Help!

    The email with your evaluation was sent via Qualtrics to the email address you provided at registration. The email will be from the Office of Continuing Education, but is sent by noreply@qemailserver.com. Some email hosts will kick this message into your spam, so be sure to check there. If you still cannot find the email, please contact ssw.conted@umich.edu so we can resend it.

  6. I see that the course catalog has multiple dates listed, can I pick which dates I want to attend?

    No, you must attend all course dates if you want to receive CE hours. Partial credit is not available.

  7. I think I forgot to sign in/out, what should I do?

    We are unfortunately not able to offer you CE hours for the course if you forget to sign in and/or out. Please do not forget to do this.

  8. If I need to cancel, how should I do it?

    Please view our policies page for cancellation information.
