Sex Therapy & Sexuality Education

The dual track certificate in Sex Therapy & Sexuality Education is designed for the professional who would benefit from both clinical and educator training. Qualified professionals for this track would include professionals who hold mental health licenses in their states or provinces and provide counseling, therapy, and education. They will have completed graduate school for clinical training in their professional area and worked for at least one year. This may be a PhD, MD, MSW, Masters in MFT, or MA. Sex therapists report using the educational training to expand their group offerings or teach in local community centers or other venues. Throughout the program you will:

• attend 15 classes

• have the opportunity to earn 225 AASECT CE contact hours, 225 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™, and social workers may receive 225 CE contact hours
