Partnering to Improve Life Outcomes for Youth and Families in Under-Served NeighborhoodsThrough this new book, authors Paula Allen-Meares, Trina Shanks, Larry Gant, Leslie Hollingsworth, and Patricia Miller offer an inside view of the intricacies of the Good Neighborhood community-change initiative.
The U-M Technical Assistance Center and the panelists provided the Skillman Foundation with expertise supporting the implementation of Good Neighborhoods, a comprehensive 10-year community change effort to transform six Detroit neighborhoods into places where children can grow up safe, healthy, educated and prepared for adulthood.
Light refreshments will be served.
