to

Join authors Paula Allen-Mears, Trina R. Shanks and Larry M. Gant for a discussion about their recent book:

A Twenty-First Century Approach to Community Change:
Partnering to Improve Life Outcomes for Youth and Families in Under-Served Neighborhoods

Through this new book, authors Paula Allen-Meares, Trina Shanks, Larry Gant, Leslie Hollingsworth, and Patricia Miller offer an inside view of the intricacies of the Good Neighborhood community-change initiative.

The U-M Technical Assistance Center and the panelists provided the Skillman Foundation with expertise supporting the implementation of Good Neighborhoods, a comprehensive 10-year community change effort to transform six Detroit neighborhoods into places where children can grow up safe, healthy, educated and prepared for adulthood.

Light refreshments will be served.
