Anti-Racism Work With the MSW Curriculum Committee

The curriculum committee organizes itself in "subgroups" that focus on specific curricular activities. In 2020, the Curriculum Committee formed a subgroup to focus specifically on anti-racism and the curriculum. The subgroup began by generating a framework that shaped the development of specific efforts. The framework involves integrating anti-racist principles and information for both students and faculty. Efforts focus on initial orientation as well as ongoing, continued development and evaluation. The plan also takes note of supporting structures and organizational culture that will be needed for long-term, sustainable exchange.
