We recognize that integrating behavioral health into the school environment is not unlike the integration of behavioral health into the medical community. In light of this, we’re launching a pilot track to complement this nationally-recognized program. It is important to emphasize that integration requires more than just putting new roles into settings; it requires a comprehensive team-based approach in order to create a sustainable response to the ebb and flow of personnel and environmental changes. The Schools track is ideally suited for a diverse range of staff including superintendents, principals, teachers, counselors, social workers, paraprofessionals, and school-based healthcare personnel.
This track has been submitted to MDE for SCECH approval.
