Job Summary

The School of Social Work at the University of Michigan seeks a part-time Research Associate for an NIH-funded R01 project (empower-at-home.com). This project focuses on implementing and evaluating an online psychotherapy program for older adults in community settings.

Work Hours: Typically Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. Occasional weekend hours may be required.
Flexibility: Flexible hours within the set time frame, but candidates must have a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs, including data collection at specific times.
Employment Type: Part-time (50% - 60%).
Salary Range: $29,000 - $35,000 annually for 50% FTE. If hired at 60% FTE, the salary range is $34,800 - $42,000 annually.

Responsibilities*

Conduct site training sessions for participating agencies.
Lead coach supervision meetings to ensure adherence to project protocols.
Conduct fidelity assessments to maintain the quality and consistency of the psychotherapy program.
Track coaching calls and monitor coaching activities, including regular communication and feedback to agency coaches.
Provide backup support for consent and assessments typically managed by the project coordinator.
Perform other project-related tasks as requested by the project leadership.
Conduct data collection and analysis.
Coordinate with project team members and community partners.
Ensure compliance with research protocols and standards.

Required Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Experience in conducting research or working on research projects.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
Flexibility in scheduling to meet project needs.
Experience developing training curricula, particularly mental health training for laypersons.
Experience with qualitative data collection and observation-based data collection.
Experience with clinical supervision.
Familiarity with online psychotherapy programs and working with older adults is desirable.

Work Locations:

You will have an office at the School of Social Work in Ann Arbor, Michigan. With supervisor approval, fully remote work is possible.
