School of Social Work IT provides A/V services and support for classrooms and School sponsored events within the School of Social Work Building. To contact us, please email


  • A/V event support within the SSW building.
  • Lecture capture via Kaltura Classroom.
  • Videoconferencing assistance with Zoom.
  • Assistance and training in classroom and meeting room equipment.
  • Assistance with MiVideo 
  • Checkout and support of A/V equipment such as voice recorders, laptops, iPods, and iClickers.
  • Support for video and audio recordings within the SSW studio and media room.
  • Video editing and video production support for classroom and instructional needs.
  • One on one training to support the use of classroom technology systems and other equipment available to them.

Reservations and Requests

All requests for A/V room or equipment support, no matter how simple, should be placed through the SSW Reservation system. SSW rooms and resources may only be reserved by faculty, staff, and current students within the School of Social Work. All other requests should be direct to

Proper Notice

Requests for A/V Support in an SSW room must be made at least three (3) business days in advance of the event. For events, conferences, or symposiums that are large or complex, please schedule a consultation with before filling out the reservation form well in advance of your event. This allows us to ensure that we have the necessary equipment and staff available to successfully complete your request.
