A Behavioral Health Collaborative for Young Black Men & Boys

Packard Health is a federally qualified health center that provides high-quality, affordable primary care, mental health care, and a broad, complementary range of fully integrated support services for patients at every stage of life. Planning, identifying and developing a Network of community organizations committed to providing services and coordinated care models that address specific behavioral health needs aligns with the mission of Packard Health. In addition to comprehensive family medical care, Packard Health offers patients mental and behavioral health care, chronic disease case management, health promotion, nutrition counseling, and support and assistance with enrollment in public health plans and drug assistance programs. Working with the YBMen project to plan, identify, and develop a network of community stakeholders will further our mission by bringing together people whose programmatic efforts impact the behavioral health of young Black men and boys. By partnering with local organizations to meet the behavioral health needs, strengthen the workforce, and engage in coordinated care services for young Black men and boys across Washtenaw County, we are developing healing-centered engagement that can be sustained and expanded.
