Role Summary
-Provide clinical oversight to NAMI’s national mental health HelpLine.
-Assist HelpLine staff and volunteers on complex and risk-related connections.
-Function as a subject matter expert to assist with the creation of Helpline materials pertaining to mental illness, treatment, and services to inform and assist HelpLine help seekers.
-Ensure HelpLine training and coaching program are trauma-informed, culturally considerate, and based on clinically sound best practices.
-Provide supervision to MSW and other graduate-level HelpLine interns.
Qualifications
-Fully licensed social worker or professional counselor.
-5+ years experience supporting the needs of clients living with mental health conditions and familiarity with standard treatment services available.
-HelpLine or hotline experience preferred.
