  1. Where can I find information about U of M faculty?

    Visit our faculty profile directory.

  2. Where can I find the course schedule?

    For all cohort-based programs, the schedule for each cohort is listed on the program website in Eastern time.

    For self-paced programs, you are usually able to start the course within 1-2 business days of registering. The schedule for live Q&A or webinar sessions will be listed on the course site, and you can opt to attend whichever date(s) best fit your schedule.

  3. Where do I find information about my Faculty Advisor and Registration Appointment as an Online MSW admitted student?

  4. Where do I park?

    Parking on campus is very limited. If you are considering purchasing a parking pass, please visit the U-M Parking & Transportation Services website.

    The University and the AATA provide several free commuter parking lots that provide service to campus via bus, more info can be found here.

  5. Where is the School of Social Work located?

    The School of Social Work Building is located at 1080 South University in Ann Arbor, Michigan 48109; this is at the corner of South University and East University.

  6. Which learning platforms does the Continuing Education Office use?

    We host all of our live courses via Zoom. For self-paced courses or certificate programs, we use our web-based learning management system, Canvas.

  7. While not my chief goal, if going into Clinical Science, is there a path to licensure either through social work or psychology?

    Graduates are required to complete the MSW degree, and can become licensed. Social Work and Clinical Psychology graduates are not eligible for clinical psychology license due to the research based nature of the PhD program. Please reach out to the Department of Psychology for verification.

  8. Who are the instructors for your programs?

    The majority of CE course instructors are U-M School of Social Work faculty. In our certificate programs, specialty content experts are recruited from diverse professions in the practice community.
