TOEFL, IELTS, MELAB, or ECPE scores are required for applicants whose native language is not English regardless of their status when applying. Applicants are exempt from submitting a TOEFL, IELTS, MELAB, or ECPE score if they have either 1) earned a degree from an institution where the language of instruction is exclusively English, regardless of country or 2) studied in the US for two years or more. (Note that test scores are valid for two years from the test date.)
No, but you should consider submitting it well in advance of start of a MasterTrack cohort so you have a determination before the course begins. This is particularly important for students planning to apply to the MSW degree program.
Yes, the online MSW program will only be offered as part-time for those interested in our Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse pathway. Students can complete our on-campus MSW program either full-time or part-time. Our evening part time program is also limited to the Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse pathway.

The Joint PhD program does not accept transfer students or credits to the program unless a student comes directly from one of the five departments aligned with the Social Work and Social Science PhD. Students wishing to join the Joint PhD program from one of the five social sciences must go through the application process just as any other student applying to the program.
Yes. If you are accepted into the Joint PhD Program, you will earn your MSW degree in the process of completing your PhD.
