Linda Edwards-Brown

Linda Edwards-Brown, LMSW, began her professional career with the Washtenaw County Trial Court where she served in various capacities. She retired from the court in 2020 as the Juvenile Division Administrator, a position she held for over twenty years. Edwards-Brown is passionate about juvenile justice and believes that children are a community’s most valuable resource. She is currently an elected trustee for Pittsfield Charter Township and a LEO in the School of Social Work. She is also a part-time lecturer in the School of Social Work at Eastern Michigan University, where she has taught since 2013.

Edwards-Brown serves on numerous local and statewide boards and committees including Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw, the Michigan Center for Youth Justice, the Michigan Association for Treatment Court Professionals and the Edward Ginsberg Community Advisory Board. She is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., a community-conscious, action-oriented organization.
