Gina Ambrogio, MSW '15, is a licensed clinical social worker who completed her undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Michigan. She focuses on interpersonal practice with children and adults, including individual, family and group therapy. In her professional career, she is driven by her commitment to serving children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. She seeks to promote the development of communication, improved social skills, a reduction of challenging behaviors such as self-injury or aggression, and an overall improved quality of life for the individual and family. In addition to her career in social work, Ambrogio is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. She serves on the board of directors for the Michigan Behavior Analysis Providers Association, a professional organization that promotes access to high-quality autism services throughout Michigan. As an educator, Ambrogio is passionate about the opportunity to empower students while strengthening their clinical skills and application of social justice practices.
