Erin B. Martinez-Gilliard

Erin Martinez has worked in the social work field for more than 20 years. She has worked in residential treatment, shelter services, community-based services and outpatient mental health services over the course of her career. She has worked with populations that are survivors of sexual and interpersonal violence as well as those who have perpetrated this violence towards others. Her training throughout her career has centered around trauma-informed, holistic interventions that incorporate the mind-body-spirit. She is also an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. Throughout her career she has worked from a lens of attachment-informed care to provide empowering and healing relationships with clients. Martinez received her graduate degree from the University of Michigan and has completed her certificate in the Sexual Health Program at the University of Michigan. She currently is a full-time clinician with a private practice in Dearborn, Michigan that provides therapy services to individuals, couples and families. The practice is focused on providing the highest quality therapy services in a manner that is approachable and affordable to all people within the community.
