Michelle C. Madison

Michelle obtained her Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Michigan in December 2017, and completed her internship at Michigan Medicine doing psychiatric and medical social work. She currently works in the field of integrated behavioral health and primary care through Starfish Family Services, providing brief interventions in both pediatric and family medicine settings contracted through the Beaumont Health System and Henry Ford Health System.

Michelle has been working in behavioral health in child & adolescent settings for over 14 years. Before obtaining her Master's degree & moving towards the medical field to provide behavioral health services, Michelle was a Lead Therapist at a therapeutic pediatric preschool for children with sensory processing disorders in Chicago, Illinois, where she became certified in DIR Floortime Play Therapy. Michelle started her career in behavioral health in Chicago Public Schools special education, working primarily as an Autism specialist and providing crisis intervention for children Autism and behavior disorders.
