    Join OSS for a training session for Student Organization leaders. This will be a review of the registration process, a discussion of policies, and an opportunity for student orgs. to share best practices with each other. All student organizations should plan to send a representative to this meeting.

  5. Rosewood-Black History Month Film

    February 8, 2013 - 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET

    February is Black History Month! The Association of Black Social Work Students presents a historic events and film directed by John Singleton. Plot: "In 1923, a black town in Florida was burned to the ground... Some escaped and survived because of the courage and compassion of a few extraordinary people." ~IMBD Ving Rhames stars, a drifter caught in Rosewood, a town filled with racial prejudice. He aids the surviving African-Americans escape the town... Join the group for a evening of history and dialog.

The purpose is to get representatives from different student organizations together to share their plans or ideas for events at the School of Social Work.     The Nonprofit and Public Management Center's (NPM) Social Impact Challenge allows U-M graduate students to solve real problems for an organization that focuses on social impact. Registration is open and highlights include:
