How to Set Up a Zoom Meeting

If you are using Zoom for your event, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log into Zoom account (paid subscription or free version)
  2. Select “Meetings” from the left hand side menu
  3. Click the “Schedule a Meeting” button on the right hand side
  4. Name your meeting something appropriate that all of your guests will recognize. 
    This will only be available for them to read if they are in a waiting room
  5. Set up the date and time for your event
    If you are using Zoom basic you will be limited to 40 minutes
  6. Change the passcode to something that is easy to remember
