Ali Duhan originally from Baltimore, MD, work as a Senior Development Associate at the Baltimore Federation. She came to JCLP from Jackson, MS where she was an Education Fellow with the Institute of Southern Jewish Life. In this role, she traveled throughout the South in order to write and implement Jewish religious school curriculum. Ali graduated from McDaniel College in May 2015 with a BA in Sociology. She is proficient in American Sign Language and spent time working with Deaf students in the Dominican Republic. She also interned at the Baltimore Federation at Jewish Volunteer Connection, where she worked on creating outreach programs for children through programs such as Mitzvah Mission and Camp Tzedek. Through JCLP, she enjoyed learning about the changing landscape of American Judaism. She especially enjoyed attending the General Assembly and spending time with her cohort planning their Communal Conversation. Ali studied Management of Human Services and completed field placements at both the Michigan and National Sections of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW).
