The Sexual Health Certificate Program offers several additional supports free-of-charge to program participants and alumni.
"NeilTalks" are a web-based series by renowed sex therapist Dr. Neil Cannon. These informal sessions provide participants with an opportunity to consult with Neil about sex therapy practice.
"Ask Alycia" sessions are distance-based small group discussions led by program liaison and AASECT-certified sex therapist Alycia Williams. These sessions serve to strengthen cohort cohesion, integrate course materials, and help participants successfully manage any barriers to progression in the program.
Dr. Lynn Wang, gynecologist and AASECT-certified sexuality counselor and educator, hosts informal small-group sessions for participants enrolled in the counselor track of SHCP. Sessions will focus on skills and techniques regarding incorporation of sexuality counseling into clinical practice.
Offered annually to our program alumni and current cohort, the Alumni Weekend is a two-day event where nationally-recognized speakers present cutting-edge material. The Alumni Weekend offers the opportunity for past cohorts to gather and reconnect, building professional networks and personal relationships. Both social work and AASECT CE's are offered.
