Sex Therapy

This track is for mental health professionals who are licensed in their states or provinces to provide mental health care and have completed graduate school for clinical training in their professional area. Applicable professional degrees may include a PhD, MD, MSW, or MA, Masters in MFT. The Sex Therapy track is designed to help clinicians identify and treat client challenges--both individual and couple--related to sexual problems and concerns. One full year of post graduate work is required. Sex Therapy Track participants report they value the depth of clinical knowledge and couples training, the chance to interact with professionals from so many fields, and the confidence to reach out to their communities knowledgeably about sex therapy treatment. In private practice, many report an increase of referrals from other professionals in their community after completing the certificate and listing that on their website or advertising. Throughout the program you will:

• attend 11 classes
• have the opportunity to earn 165 AASECT CE contact hours, 165 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™, and social workers may receive 165 CE contact hours
