This grant is the implementation of the Child Welfare Certificate educational curriculum supported by Title IVE funding. The Child Welfare Certificate educational curriculum will prepare students to work in child welfare settings. This will encompass collaboration with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to establish administrative and educational components related to implementation of the Child Welfare Certificate educational program as well collaboration with MSU, WSU, CMU and Western Universities to implement the Curriculum. Dr. Kathryn Maguire-Jack is the Principal Investigator (PI) for the proposed work. She will lead all project activities and assume responsibility for ensuring all deliverables are met. She will serve as the primary contact, supervise the Title IV-E Coordinator, organize internal and external meetings, and oversee the budget.
