Position Overview: The Part-Time Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, preparing, and submitting grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, an in-depth understanding of the nonprofit sector, and a proven record of successful grant applications. This role requires proactive identification of funding opportunities that align with our mission and programs.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred.
● Experience in grant writing, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
● Proven track record of successful grant proposals and securing funding from diverse sources.
● Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
● Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with grant management software.
● Passion for supporting women in recovery and building strong, supportive relationships.
Work Schedule: Remote with flexible hours, approximately 8 hours per week.
