Job Summary
The University of Michigan's Center for Global Health Equity was launched by a catalytic gift from Dr. Tachi and Leslie Yamada, and was generously matched by the University. The Center brings together faculty and students from across the U-M community, leveraging expertise from multiple disciplines in pursuit of novel solutions to global health challenges that can positively impact individuals in low-resource settings.
The Center is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Intermediate Manager who will manage the Center's initiatives around our existing collaborations in Ghana; design and implement recruitment and outreach activities, and educational and professional development programs for Center faculty and staff members; and partner with other Center staff leading our internal grants processes. In addition, the Project Manager will assist faculty leaders in advancing specialized challenge groups and communities of practice in existing areas of interest as well as newly identified areas to advance interdisciplinary engagement. Working under the direction of the Center's Managing Director, this individual will support and lead efforts to design, develop and evaluate initiatives that are conceptualized through collaborative efforts of U-M faculty, international partners, and external stakeholders. Strong emphasis will be placed on developing tactics to measure and report on the impact these initiatives make on the lives of the most vulnerable people worldwide.
