Mitchell Berger is a specialist in female pelvic floor disorders. He received my PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania, followed by MD at Penn (through a combined MD/PhD program). He then completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Michigan. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) at the University of Michigan. He then joined the faculty of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Michigan, ultimately achieving the rank of Associate Professor. At Michigan, he was a member of the Pelvic Floor Research Group, the co-director of the Female Pelvic and Urinary Pain clinic, and the director of surgical services for the Michigan Bowel Control Program.
Dr. Berger moved to the Philadelphia suburbs in 2018, joining a Urogynecology practice associated with Main Line Health.
