Josh Musicant, originally from Toms River, New Jersey, graduated from the University of Michigan in April with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and Women's Studies, where his research investigated previous scholarship on the intersection between feminism and animals. As an undergrad, Josh worked as a Residential Advisor and founded Michigan's chapter of Epsilon Eta, the 2nd professional environmental fraternity in the country. Josh is studying Social Policy and Evaluation and Community and Social Systems where he hopes to gain adequate knowledge and resources to practice constitutional and public defense law. He is excited to enter a community which prioritizes social justice advocacy and intellectual rigor via our explorations of Judaism within the JCLP.
