Lorraine Gutiérrez’s PhotoVoice mini-course will culminate in a photography exhibit in the SSW building. PhotoVoice is an participatory action research method that uses photography to share individual and collective experiences. A PhotoVoice exhibit is focused on a theme or issue to express to the community and decision makers.
This PhotoVoice exhibit will focus on a range of themes such as educational inequity, cultural identity, food and nutrition,and environmental justice. All are invited to the opening. There will be light refreshments.
