Amanda Northcutt (she/her), MEd, OCPSA, is the Prevention Education Specialist with Visible and Resilient in Community in Self, a youth-informed, SOGIE inclusive, educational services program working to increase health equity for LGBTQ+ youth who are historically and systemically marginalized. Prior to onboarding with Visible and Resilient, Amanda taught middle school for nearly 10 years, ranging from grades 5-7. The later part of her classroom teaching experience took place in Dayton Public Schools, where she became involved in the Equity Fellows program. At that time, Amanda discovered her passion to foster visibility and resiliency with marginalized, intersectional identities and communities.
