This session will provide the opportunity to learn more about Preferred Admission to U-M's MSW program for undergraduate students completing a Community Action Social Change (CASC) minor at U-M. Topics covered will include: MSW Curriculum, Dual Degree Programs, Application Process, Degree Requirements, and Financial Aid. Come learn about the process for applying Preferred Admit to the School of Social Work. Staff from the SSW Office of Student Services and CASC will give a short presentation, offer best practice for applying, and answer questions.

Academic institutions and state legislators are in the process of creating a safety net for minors in response to incidents of child sexual abuse on University and College campuses. The Family Assessment Learning Laboratory for Education and Research seminar series will build on existing case studies with the goal of developing new responses and answering critical questions for academic institutions. Continuing education opportunities and academic credit are available.

The series is free (registration is required) and open to all faculty, students and staff at the University of Michigan.

The Jewish Communal Leadership Program hosted an interfaith and intercultural celebration of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot (the "Feast of Tabernacles"). Faculty, staff, and students joined together for snacks in the sukkah to honor the value of hospitality here on campus.
