School of Social Work Town Hall Meeting
March 26, 2013 - 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM ET
Originally scheduled for February 26th; postponed due to winter storm.
The Student Union is hosting a Town Hall event for students, faculty, and the rest of the Social Work Community. This is an opportunity for students to interact with faculty, share concerns and comments about their experiences at the school, and dialogue with peers. There will be a panel of faculty and student organization representatives, followed by small group break-out discussions about specific topics in the SSW with students, faculty, and staff. This event will be facilitated by the Student Union and the goal is to conduct the event in a constructive and strengths-based way, rather than merely listing student complaints. In the small group portions, students, faculty and staff will work collaboratively to brainstorm solutions where there are areas for improvement in the SSW.
Food will be provided!
