Fall 2017 SEED Orientation

to

Share, Explore, Engage, Discover (SEED) is the School of Social Work's orientation experience. SEED features programming tailored to incoming students. The goals of SEED include strengthening connection and community at the School of Social Work, exploring PODS (privilege, oppression, diversity, & social justice), and learning foundation-level social work skills.

New Student SEED Orientation for MSW students will be held on August 29, 30, and 31, with optional social activities tentatively scheduled for September 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Various activities will provide great opportunities to meet and connect with MSW students, faculty, and staff. During SEED Orientation students will also receive their faculty advisor assignment and attend a pre-field instruction workshop (if advanced standing).
