Come see "Are you willing to give up all your rights and plead guilty to the crime?: Immigration Enforcement at the Southwest Border".
Students from SSW799-Immigration Enforcement at the Contested Border-will provide visual, aural, and tactile evidence of immigration enforcement and deterrence and of Samaritan activities to prevent deaths during dangerous desert crossings. They spent spring break in the Tucson/Nogales area witnessing methods of enforcement and considering social justice at the border.
Presentation materials will be up on Friday (with students presenting during the lunch hour).
Come participate in conversations about social justice at the border and learn more about the methods and outcomes of immigration enforcement.
