Fall 2013 Community Service Day #7: Tour of Detroit

Sign up for one of the Community Service Day sites by calling the Office of Student Services at (734) 936-0961 by August 16^th, 2013. Sites will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

This event will depart from the School of Social Work at the time listed. Transportation will be provided.

• Project Description: This tour of Detroit, led by Linda Yellin, MSW, will highlight the city's rich history, local movements, challenges, and current progress being made. Portions of the tour will be on foot. Water will be provided.

• Special Instructions: Wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes appropriate for walking. Dress for the weather and bring sunscreen. Please bring necessary allergy medication(s) (for bees, plants, etc.). Please do not bring many personal items.
