Sign up for one of the Community Service Day sites by calling the Office of Student Services at (734) 936-0961 by August 16th, 2013. Sites will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
This event will depart from the School of Social Work at the time listed. Transportation will be provided.
- Organization Mission: The mission of the Child Care Center is to provide quality early childhood care for the children of parents working at the University of Michigan Health System. The program is designed to meet the needs of infant, toddler, and preschool children in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. The Center's goal is to strengthen the bridge between UM employees' work and family life by creating a special place that supports them both.
- Project Description: Volunteers will work with the early childhood program for children ages birth through five. At the site there will be a variety of projects including cleaning, organizing, and playing with kids! Water will be provided.

- Special Instructions: Wear comfortable clothes appropriate for working with children. Please do not bring many personal items. The facility is a peanut free zone. Please do not bring outside food.
