Sign up for one of the Community Service Day sites by calling the Office of Student Services at (734) 936-0961 by August 16th, 2013. Sites will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
This event will depart from the School of Social Work at the time listed. Transportation will be provided.
- Organization Mission: Kids-TALK Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) is a community-based program that serves children through 17 years of age, providing comprehensive treatment to suspected child victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, or other forms of psychological trauma.
- Project Description: Students will help clean and sort donations, clean and organize the current medical facility to convert it into a usable office space, prepare invitations for our annual Grape Expectations Wine Tasting fundraiser, and assist with a project that will be a visual representation of the number of children that we serve here at Kids-TALK CAC. Water will be provided.
