The advanced standing program allows students to complete their MSW degree in 45 credit hours.
Attained an undergraduate degree with a major in social work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), the Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE) or from a program that was in candidacy status for this accreditation at the time the degree was awarded.
Maintained a GPA of 3.5 or above in the equivalent of the final two years of undergraduate study as calculated by the School's Office of Student Services and Enrollment Management.
Completed undergraduate degree within ten years of the expected completion of the MSW degree.
Students who enter with advanced standing have the number of hours required to receive the MSW degree reduced from 60 to 45 credit-hours.
