Mcard

The Mcard is your official University of Michigan identification card. You'll use it all over campus to identify yourself as a member of the university community. The UMID number is the cardholder's eight digit student number. The Mcard has many uses from building access to riding the bus for free on any fixed schedule AAATA bus route. You can also receive a discount at some businesses/organizations by showing your Mcard.

Please explore the U-M Mcard webpage for details and additional information.

As an incoming MSW student, after you have matriculated (accepted an offer of admission and paid the enrollment deposit) and set up your uniqname, you may submit your photo online for your Mcard.

Have an existing Mcard? Please review the Existing Mcards page.
