  1. I have never taken a hybrid course before. What is a hybrid course?

    This hybrid certificate program combines pre-recorded videos that you view and work through at your own pace, as well as live interactive sessions, in which you will learn with the instructor and other participants by Zoom. Reading materials and study aids will be located on a course website that you can access throughout the program.

  2. If I am getting assistance from an employer or organization in paying for a continuing education certificate program, can they make the payment directly to you?

    Yes, please contact the Office of Continuing Education by email ([email protected]) or by phone (734-763-5723) to discuss the payment process.

  3. If I need to cancel, how should I do it?

    Please view our policies page for cancellation information.

  4. Is financial aid or scholarship assistance available for this Continuing Education certificate program?

    No, this continuing education certificate program does not currently offer financial aid.

  5. My organization wants to register several people to take a certificate program. What's the best way to register a group for a CE certificate program?

    We recommend that each participant reviews the program schedule and requirements and registers themself individually. Whoever is organizing the group and/or providing payment for the group should contact the Office of Continuing Education by email to coordinate payment. If you are planning to register a large group, we strongly encourage you to set up a call with the Office of Continuing Education to discuss your interest and needs.

  6. What if I am having technical problems affecting my access to this continuing education certificate program at home?

    Instructions for addressing technical problems are provided in the course orientation information and on the course site. You may also contact the Office of Continuing Education at [email protected] or 734-763-5723 (during business hours).

  7. What if I have a concern about the number of CE contact hours awarded or about the certificate program? What steps do I take to resolve this concern?

  8. Where can I find the course schedule?

    For all cohort-based programs, the schedule for each cohort is listed on the program website in Eastern time.

    For self-paced programs, you are usually able to start the course within 1-2 business days of registering. The schedule for live Q&A or webinar sessions will be listed on the course site, and you can opt to attend whichever date(s) best fit your schedule.
