Candidates with a MSW with interest in community-based mental health practice andresearch, serious mental illness, and suicide prevention are encouraged to apply. This University of Michiganfull-time position will involve a split between clinical and research hours, with 75% of time allocated todelivering psychotherapy services at Washtenaw County Community Mental Health and 25% of timeconducting research primarily at Washtenaw County Community Mental Health. Time allocated to researcheach week will involve tasks such as recruitment, screening, and tracking participants for the NIMH-fundedintervention trial that is mentioned above and will conclude in 2024. Research assistant training andsupervision for both roles of the position will be provided across the two years of employment.
