  1. Is there a wireless connection available at the School of Social Work?

    Wireless internet connection is available throughout the building for laptops with wireless cards.

  2. Should I wait until I have been admitted to apply for financial aid for the MSW Program?

    No. It is best for students to apply for financial aid as soon as possible. The School of Social Work Financial Aid Form should be submitted with the MSW application. The FAFSA is available each October. Be sure to review special program deadlines.

  3. Should the Supplementary Statement address each topic separately or incorporate them into one cohesive statement?

    Please provide one statement which covers all four topics.

  4. What are the basic requirements for admission into the University of Michigan School of Social Work MSW degree program?

    • Applicants must have completed a U.S. bachelor’s degree or its equivalent prior to enrollment in September unless they have been admitted through our non-BA program.
