Candace N. Ziglor

LEO Lecturer II

Candace Ziglor has a Master of Social Work with a concentration in individual, group and family practice with children and families from the University of Toronto. Ziglor is an Assistant Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School, where she helps dental students to become person centered and develop strong interpersonal skills. She also assists in the student dental clinic, identifying real-time opportunities to improve communication between dentists and their patients and provide needs-based resources. Ziglor previously worked as a clinical therapist in school-based mental health for a community mental health organization, where she provided crisis and mental health services within Detroit Public Schools Community District. Ziglor also provides consultation, training and mental health services through her own private practice, A to Z Counseling & Consulting.
