Erin M. Khang

Erin Khang is the Director of Field Education and clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan School of Social Work. Khang received her MSSA degree from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. Prior to this she began her career at Cleveland Clinic and then worked at Michigan Medicine for over 17 years as a pediatric nephrology clinical social worker, MSW field director, and healthcare clinical and administrative leader. Khang was the inaugural Michigan Medicine Social Work Department Diversity Chair and was a co-creator and leader for the innovative Healthcare Equity Consult Service. Areas of interest include social work teaching, healthcare equity, DEIB, and interprofessional education and research.
