  10. Leveraging Technology in Social Work: Connecting the Dots to Wellness that Works

    February 24, 2023 - 12:00 PM to 2:15 PM ET

This webinar will focus on the use of technology in the field of social work. Technology continues to evolve, creating more access to social work services and resources. Supporting social workers in learning to utilize technological resources that are culturally-informed and responsive is critical to keeping pace with the rapidly-growing psychosocial needs of families, young adults, and the professionals who serve them. The benefits of technology are not limited to practicing with others, and they create a viable avenue for prioritizing self-care for social work practitioners. Incorporating technology into social work practices that extend beyond traditional interventions creates a treasure chest of resources and tools to enhance overall health, wealth, and wellness. Information presented in this presentation will provide practical strategies for participants to use technology as a resource for their clients and themselves.
