This session will focus on how current circumstances of the COVID pandemic are serving to expose and heighten enduring concerns about gaps in child welfare services. Panelists will speak about the ways child welfare systems have been impacted by the pandemic—and how they have responded during a time of unprecedented fear and need. Additionally, panelists will share their perspectives on the immediate and long-term implications for child welfare services.
