Incoming Student Registration

All students will register for fall term courses during the summer. In late May, once students have paid their enrollment deposit, they will receive an email from the Office of Student Services with regard to scheduling a registration appointment time and web-based group advising session.

Classes, including field instruction, begin on Tuesday, September 8th unless otherwise noted on course schedules. The vast majority of social work classes are held in the School of Social Work Building. On occasion, classes may be held in other buildings as well. Typically, classes in the School range in size from 15-35 and generally employ a lecture and discussion format. Classes are taught by regular faculty, clinical faculty, and lecturers. A small number of courses will be taught by doctoral students.
