SW510 Share, Explore, Engage, Discover (SEED) Mini-Course

Please note that all incoming MSW students are expected to register for a section of SW510 [Share, Explore, Engage, Discover (SEED) Mini-Course] when you register for your courses.

This is not listed on the course planning worksheet, but it is an expectation.

Fall SEED Orientation activities will be held August 27 - 30. A schedule will be available soon and posted to the SEED Orientation Toolkit.

Course planning and registration information was sent to incoming fall 2019 MSW students. Please complete the registration confirmation form to let us know if you received the information or need it resent. You need only submit the form one time.

The Admitted Student Orientation Toolkit for incoming MSW students is now available!

As an incoming MSW student, you are expected to review the information in each area of the Toolkit to prepare for your U-M SSW journey. Go Blue!

Exemption Request Process

MSW students may pursue exemptions from foundation course requirements. We offer an online exemption request process for MSW students. The exemption process is web-based and student-initiated. We encourage students to request exemptions as soon as possible as it may affect fall 2019 course selections.
